So I should probably introduce myself...

 

I'm Charlotte and I’m 32 years old. I was born and bred in Essex and lived here all my life but I’m far from the misogynistic stereotype  that most people tend to have of us. Firstly I don’t wear white stilettos and dance round my handbag, I’m not a bimbo and my skin colour doesn’t resemble either that of a wotsit or an oompa loompa. And…no,  I don’t know any of the TOWIE cast.

I decided to start this blog as I was looking for some escapism from everyday life. It had been something that I had wanted to do for some time, after a lot of deliberation and a massive kick up the ... I finally decided to start one up writing about subjects that I'm interested in and passionate about.

​

In my spare time I will either be found spending time with friends putting the world to rights after having a few, spending far too much time on Netflix (which kindly gives me 15 seconds between each episode to contemplate whether I am going to do anything with my life today - the answer usually being no), scrawling through Pinterest (self  confessed serial pinterester right here) or playing games with friends (which more often than not ends up in a few arguments).

I'm a devoted TV and film fan (you'll mainly find me watching series' like The Walking Dead, Schitt's Creek, Game Of Thrones, etc) and an avid make-up collector.

I have the travelling bug BIG time and love to experience different places and emerse myself in different cultures. I am absolutely in love with the US (especially New York) and try to visit at any given opportunity.

That basically sums me up… Slightly bonkers, fluent in sarcasm and a huge procrastinator.
