I'm a bit of a creature of habit and don't like change so I'm usually a bit wary of trying new make up brands that i've never heard of before. I recently discovered the make up brand 'So Susan' after receiving one of their products in a monthly subscription box that i've signed up to. The product I received was the 'Colour Hybrid' in a deep red colour which can be used on the lips or the cheeks. Being extremely pale I personally wouldn't use the colour on my cheeks as I think it would be a tad too dark for my skin tone but it's a stunning colour to use on the lips. The mousse-like texture means that a little bit of the product goes a long way and it has some serious staying power.
After taking a look on the website at what other range of products they had to offer I found myself falling in love with the wacky, unconventional and quirky illustrations on packaging for their products.
I discovered that So Susan have subscription service of their own called 'Lip Love', every month you receive a canvas make up bag (the design and quote on the bag changes from month to month) and 5 products from their range. After liking the 'Colour Hybrid' so much I was intrigued to test out their other products so naturally I signed up to it!
I have not tried all the products that have been sent to me as of yet but I was really impressed with the coverage of the Foundation sent in the December edition. I was feeling slightly disappointed with all the lipsticks I have received as I have found the colours to be slightly too 'neon' for my liking!
Overall it's definitely a cosmetic brand that I would recommend...and the best bit about it is that they are against animal cruelty!
