Whilst flicking through Facebook one day I came across a Facebook group called 'Tipsy Bartenders'. I browsed through their videos watching them make all kind of concoctions from cocktails to 'drunken' food! One video that really caught my eye was the Starburst Shot Glasses! They are achievable, affordable and most of all good fun! They're not overly edible after cooking them but they seemed to go down a storm with all my friends which was the main thing!
This is how they were made:
Separate each colour of starburst into their own individual piles.
Place starburst into the silicone mold - You can either make the shot glass a singular colour or combine two colours
Cut the starburst down into smaller chunks to fill in any gaps
Place the silicone mold with the starburst in into the oven for roughly 10 - 15 minutes - Keep an eye on them to make sure they don't bubble over. If they do bubble over take them out of the oven and then scrape something with a flat surface over the top to create a flat and smooth bottom.
Pop the whole silicone mold into the fridge for an hour or two - This will allow the starburst shot glasses to cool off and completely set.
Pour a shot of your choice into the starburst shot glass and ENJOY!
They are slightly time consuming (but I think this was because I was trying to fill every nook and cranny in the silicone mold) and after a couple of goes some do 'spring a leak' but they look impressive and are good fun nonetheless!
