It was only 4 months ago that France was left reeling from some of the most horrendous terrorist attacks Europe has ever seen. 130 days later and Europe has been targeted once again by terrorists attacking neighbouring nation, Belgium. This time it was a little too close to home for me having family living over in Brussels.

In 72 minutes 3 bombs went off in Brussels international airport and at the Maelbeek metro Subway Station killing 32 people and injuring a further 300 people. These people were innocently going about their lives; travelling to work, waving off family and friends at the airport, going on business trips or holiday's. These horrendous attacks didn't just hit Belgium but affected various parts of the world with victims coming from a wide variety of countries including Belgium, Britain, Colombia, France, Germany, Hungary, Peru, Portugal, Romania, Spain & the US.

And unfortunately again, Muslims feel the need to come out and defend their religion due to these terrorist attacks. I feel for the Muslim community having to contend with the views of small and narrow minded people that can't seem to differentiate between the extremists and the religion as a whole. Religion is rarely ever the problem, it's the people who try and use it to gain power.

Sending love and thoughts to all the victims, victims families and others who were affected.

Love Charlotte
